Ikea has filed a lawsuit against Swedish retailer Biltema, accusing it of copying two of its well-known products and demanding $1 million in compensation. The claim was filed by Inter Ikea Systems, which manages the Ikea brand and concept. It alleges Biltema infringed on Ikea’s copyright by selling what it describes as counterfeit copies of the Försiktig step stool and the IKEA PS 2002 water jug.
