The Chilean Chamber of Deputies issued the bill that increases penalties for crimes of theft, theft and receptacle of cables, including telecommunications. Although related regulations already existed in the country, the text gives more specificity on a crime of strong impact in the sector. After the parliamentary stage, only the presidential signature remains.
