Trump administration admits ICE arrested Mahmoud Khalil without a warrant

The administration's lawyers claim that this was justified by Khalil's likelihood of escape.

On April 14th, Mohsen Mahdawi (34), a student at the prestigious Columbia University in the United States, visited the US Federal Immigration Service office in Colchester, Vermont. He is a Palestinian who was born and raised in a refugee camp in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Mahdawi moved to the United States in 2014 and holds a permanent resident card (green card), but is also seeking citizenship.
