I was right to stop using S-hooks. I got rid of a lot of stress by using these magnetic ones.

Yawata Kasei's "Button Sling." A silicone band with a built-in magnet that eliminates the stress of dropping S-hooks. The strong magnet keeps them from falling off, and they're easy to put on and take off. They can even get wet, making them convenient for cleaning and cooking.
