I have been banned from entering Germany

Three weeks ago, I was banned from entering Germany. When I asked the German authorities who decided it, when and on what argument, I received a formal answer that, for reasons of national security, my questions would not receive any formal answer. Suddenly, I made a quick mental leap to the time when I was ten years old and saw Germany as a refuge from authoritarianism.
