Former NewJeans Member Danielle Says She 'Fought Till the End' to Stay with Band
Danielle addressed fans in a bilingual livestream, affirming her fight to stay with NewJeans amid a 43 billion won damages lawsuit filed by ADOR.
In a YouTube and Instagram livestream on Monday, Danielle, former NewJeans member, said she 'fought until the very end' to stay, her first message since Ador ended her contract.
A South Korean court ordered the group's members, including Hyein, Hanni, and Minji, to honor their contracts through 2029, after Ador said it couldn't continue working with Danielle.
Visibly emotional, Danielle thanked Bunnies in Korean and English, promising updates 'when the time comes' while her legal representatives said the stream was unrelated to ongoing cases.
Ador filed a damages suit seeking 43.1 billion won, while Danielle Marsh's legal representatives are expected to issue a statement on Jan 13.
As a known performer beyond the group, Danielle's removal has wider resonance since NewJeans' debut, increasing public interest amid Ador's HYBE ownership and its $31 million lawsuit.
