Ertan Aydın, former AKP member of parliament and former advisor to the prime minister, who was detained in the fund investigation, was referred to court with a request for his arrest.
AKP Deputy Chairman Nihat Zeybekci, who previously made headlines with his statement "I am a victim of the fund scandal," said regarding the fund embezzlement, "Unfortunately, there is both negligence and abuse in the management of some public institutions."
