Hunter missing since Saturday found alive in Lancaster County

LANCASTER CO., S.C. – A hunter missing in Lancaster County has been found safe. Crews located 70-year-old Charlie McCoy around 10:30 Wednesday morning. They say he was alive, conscious, and alert. The three-day search focused on an area along Mudhole Road near Heath Springs. That’s where McCoy planned to go turkey hunting on Saturday. We’re told he was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
