The prime minister announced this late on Thursday night on his Facebook page.

In his first appearance at an EU summit, Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar said that he will represent his country differently than his predecessor Viktor Orbán. He does not rule out ever again casting a veto, as Orbán regularly did. But if Magyar does so, it is in defense of Hungarian interests, the new prime minister said.
