Humbled Brian Snitker inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame
Snitker was honored for 50 years with the Braves, a run that included a 2021 World Series title, seven playoff trips and six straight division crowns.
The Braves inducted Brian Snitker as the 42nd member of the Braves Hall of Fame at Truist Park on Saturday, honoring his 50 years with the organization before Atlanta played Philadelphia.
Snitker stepped down as manager in October 2025 after leading the organization for 10 years, including the 2021 World Series title, before transitioning to senior adviser.
Speeches from Chipper Jones, Terry Pendleton, and Jeff Francoeur highlighted the ceremony, with Troy Snitker unexpectedly attending. Center fielder Michael Harris said, "It means a lot to this team."
Despite injuries to key starters, The Braves have thrived under new manager Walt Weiss, entering the game with an MLB-best record and holding a 6-game lead in the East.
Reflecting on his tenure, Snitker emphasized authenticity at his press conference, stating, "I've never tried to put on airs" and "I've never tried to be anybody but me.
