Hudson County Sheriff’s Office announces DWI checkpoint Jan. 17

The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office will be cracking down on impaired drivers Friday, Jan. 17, wen it conducts a DWI checkpoint on Kennedy Boulevard and 43rd Street, on the the Union City-North Bergen border.The primary purpose of the checkpoint is not to make arrests, but to promote public safety by deterring drivers from driving impaired.
