The powerful ÖVP head of the club August Wölinger is convicted of abuse of office. With him, a system of influence in Austria was on trial.
ÖVP-Klubchef Wöglinger was sentenced to seven months of conditional imprisonment for incitement of abuse of office. Andreas Ottenschläger (Wirtschaftsbund) and Georg Strasser, President of the Bauernbund, were acted as successors.
