How disinformation with AI in Africa becomes a threat

Artificial intelligence is used to influence democratic processes in Africa. This is demonstrated by a new study by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. AI is also used in current conflicts such as in Congo.

To say, in 2025, that we are surrounded, saturated with information, I think it is obvious. Every day, thousands of news, publications and comments flood social networks and digital media. Thus, in this context of overinformation, it is not difficult to imagine that a strategy of information manipulation, flood the zone (literally, "flooding the area"), is gaining prominence.
