Horse breeder and veterinarian Steven Dhondt from Pelt has invested the proceeds from the auction of the most expensive foal ever—a whopping €400,000—in a new horse clinic in Durbuy. Meanwhile, the foal itself has arrived in the United Arab Emirates. It will soon be stabled with its unnamed new owner. However, it will be another three to four years before the horse can begin a show jumping career.
