UNBC Timberwolves basketball teams fall short against UBC
PRINCE GEORGE —The UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball teams both lost Thursday night at the Northern Sports Centre. The women fell 84-49 with Viktoria Filatova the team’s top scorer with 14 points. With the loss, the women drop to 1-12 on the season. They host the UFV Cascades Saturday night at 5 p.m. The UNBC Timberwolves men’s squad fell 88-74 to UBC. Nikola Guzina had 19 points for UNBC in the loss. UNBC now sports a 2-11 record. …
