Hospitality turnover in February 2025 was 1.7% lower in real terms than in the previous month

According to preliminary results from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the hospitality industry in Germany recorded a calendar and seasonally adjusted real (price-adjusted) turnover of 1.7% and a nominal (not price-adjusted) turnover of 1.2% in February 2025 compared to January 2025. Compared to the same month of the previous year, February 2024, turnover fell by 3.2% in real terms and rose by 0.8% in nominal terms.
