Horseback riding coach sexually assaulted teen, N.J. authorities say

An equestrian trainer and horseback riding coach is facing various charges for allegedly sexually assaulting and exchanging obscene materials with a teenager. Troy Roberto, 55, of the Hewitt section of West Milford, is charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of child sexual abuse materials, as well as a drug and weapons charge, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement on Tuesday.

The suspect was also found with child pornography, illicit pills, and firearm ammunition, authorities said.
