Hopedale man charged with first degree murder and attempted murder, say RCMP
The RCMP have charged 27-year-old Michael Tuglavina, of Hopedale N.L., with first degree murder and attempted murder, after responding to a complaint of assault on May 16. Tuglavina was charged on May 17 after an investigation was conducted.

A 27-year-old has been arrested after a man was found dead in a home in Hopedale on Friday. RCMP opened the door to find his body and another person with serious injuries. A shelter-in-place order was issued for the community, and the suspect was quickly found. Twenty-seven-year-old Michael Tuglavina has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder. He was held for court.
