Hope to crown Little Miss and Mr. Firecracker during festivities

A Little Miss and Mr. Firecracker will be crowned for the seventh time during the Old-Fashioned Independence Day festivities coming up in Hope and organizers are looking for nominees. Area children between 3 and 10 years old are invited to take part. To win votes, decorate cans for donations and place them around town, or solicit donations from friends and family members. HOPE — Organizers of Hope’s upcoming Old-Fashioned Independence Day celebration are calling on local families to nominate contestants for a beloved holiday tradition. For the seventh consecutive year, one young boy and girl will be crowned Little Miss and Mr. Firecracker during the community’s patriotic festivities.
