Americus Police Department On April 16 at approximately 12:50 a.m. officers of the Americus Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Glory Court to a reported shooting. On arrival officers located one victim in the residence with apparent gunshot wounds and rendered emergency fist aid until EMS personnel arrived.
