Jasper Police arrested a homeless man Thursday after receiving a report from a woman that a man was attempting to kick in the door of her apartment in the 13-hundred block of Dewey Street Police say 31-year-old Matthew Lee Hess had struck and kicked the victim’s apartment door for nearly an hour, causing significant damage and nearly gaining entry.
