Real estate sales rose by around 16.7% in Belgium in the last half of the year, according to the Federation of Notaries (Fednot) in its latest barometer on Thursday. The latter shows that the average price of a house is also rising (+5.1%). The increase in sales was recorded in the three regions of the country. The growth was the strongest in Flanders (about 18.2%), then in Wallonia (+16%) and finally in Brussels (+8.6 %).
