Hit-and-Run Driver Sought in Coachella Bicycle Crash

Authorities Monday were searching for a hit-and-run motorist suspected of striking a bicyclist in Coachella over the weekend. The crash was reported about 9:16 p.m. Saturday in the area of Harrison Street and Avenue 48, according to Sgt. Robert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
