Thirty-nine-year-old Petr Horálek from the Institute of Physics of the Silesian University in Opava has already achieved many successes in the field of astrophotography. His photos of rare celestial phenomena from around the world have attracted attention not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. For example, a photo of the aurora borealis with a comet was chosen by NASA as the prestigious photo of the day.
