HINESVILLE, Ga. (WSAV) — An investigation is underway after a fatal early morning stabbing in Hinesville on Thursday. According to Hinesville Police Chief, Tracey Howard, officers found an unresponsive man shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday morning. He was reportedly bleeding from a stab wound at the Royal Oaks apartment complex on the 900 block of Pineland Avenue. A 30-year-old man is dead after a stabbing in Montreal's Saint-Laurent borough on Thursday morning. A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene, in what police say is the ninth homicide of 2025.
