(KRON) -- In the latest blow for Oakland's troubled Hegenberger Road business corridor, a hotel that's operated in the area for more than 50 years plans to close this summer. The Hilton Oakland Airport hotel, which has operated in the area since 1968, will cease operations on or about Aug. 28, KRON4.com has confirmed.
