ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - No. 1 Odessa College defeated No. 4 Cisco 8-4 in the battle of the Wranglers in the first game of the best-of-three series. The offense for OC was led by Nathaniel Mendoza and Lazaro Alvarado, who both hit home runs. Tomorrow, these teams are back in action for game two at 1:00 p.m. at Wrangler Field. The Odessa College baseball team moved one step closer to advancing to the next round of the region tournament by defeating Cisco College 8-4 Thursday at Wrangler Ballpark.
