Fire Damages Laundromat in Highland Park

Fire Sunday damaged a single-story Laundromat in Highland Park, authorities said. Firefighters dispatched at 7:25 a.m. Sunday to 6565 N. Figueroa St. had the fire out within 20 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. “Crews on the roof and the interior worked in coordination to extinguish all flames and ensure there were no victims,” the LAFD’s Lyndsey Lantz said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
