Millennium Dough Company Enters Administration After 34 Years Despite £1.7M Profit
The pizza dough maker owed creditors £1.5 million after posting a £1.7 million profit, according to Companies House.
On Monday, June 8, 2026, Millennium Dough Company entered administration after 34 years operating in Greenford, West London, according to The Gazette.
Despite generating a £1.7 million profit in the year to October 2024, the company owed creditors £1.5 million, nearly double the £751,052 owed in 2023.
Nicholas Charles Simmonds and Chris Newell from Quantuma Advisory Limited were appointed joint administrators, tasked with formulating restructuring proposals within 8 weeks.
A statutory moratorium provides "breathing space" for the firm to continue trading; administration will automatically conclude after 12 months under the Insolvency Act 1986 unless extended.
The closure reflects broader UK retail challenges; major brands LK Bennett and Claire's closed all stores in April, marking a difficult year for the high street.
