High Point Rockers chairman Coy O. Willard, Jr. passes away

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — The High Point Rockers baseball team is mourning the loss of their chairman. In an Instagram post made Sunday, the Rockers announced the passing of Coy O. Willard, Jr., the chairman of the board of the High Point Downtown Stadium Foundation. He died Sunday after a long battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
