The average number of sick days in Denmark has increased since Covid-19, according to an analysis from CEPOS
Sickness absence among primary school teachers varies significantly from municipality to municipality. This is shown by a new analysis from the think tank Cepos. On average, teachers had 12.6 sick days in 2025, but in some municipalities the absence is as high as 20 days per year, while others are around 9 days.
