The winners of the "Casca de Carvalho" Melon Competition, part of the 11th Melon Fair, which took place this past weekend on Avenida da Liberdade in Barcelos, have been announced. The first prize was awarded to producer António Valente, from the parish of Faria. Second place went to Adelino Costa, from Vilar de Figos, while Rui Silva, from the parish of Abade de Neiva, won third place.
