Hendrik Streeck Is Now Responsible for Drugs

In the election campaign, Hendrik Streeck promised to bring more objectivity and scientificity into politics. Now he has an office in which he can prove himself.

The virologist Hendrik Streeck has been sitting in the Bundestag only since the beginning of this legislative period. Nevertheless, an office in the Federal Government is already waiting for the CDU politician: Health Minister Warken appointed him as drug officer.

We had already reported the day before yesterday, now it is official. The newly elected Bonn CDU member of parliament and virologist Hendrik Streeck is the new drug commissioner of the Federal Government. The Federal Cabinet has now appointed the 47-year-old CDU deputy.
