[Taipei Kyodo News] Former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen visited Berlin on the 9th. Taiwan does not have formal diplomatic relations with major European countries, including Germany. In her speech, Tsai emphasized that Taiwan is standing up to China in order to protect democracy. She appealed to other countries to cooperate.
