Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi underwent a medical examination after becoming unwell following a joint workout with his American counterpart Pete Hegseth. The two had intended to showcase their close partnership with a rowing session, but Koizumi overexerted himself and became dehydrated. "It was tough, but worth it," he said afterward.
