The 67 people removed from the camp area in support of the Festivals of Vitória Beach, on Terceira Island, due to bad weather, were relocated to the parking lot of the local professional school, where they remain safe today.
The bad weather is wreaking havoc on several islands. Sixty-seven people had to be removed from the campsite of Praia da Vitória, on Terceira Island due to the intense rain. IPMA placed the islands of the Central and Eastern groups on orange notice, the second most severe of the weather scale.
