Heart Aerospace X1 electric airliner completes low-speed taxiing trials

In late May 2026 Heart Aerospace’s X1 demonstrator completed low-speed taxi testing at the company’s X1 flight-test base at Plattsburgh International Airport in upstate New York, marking an important milestone in the aircraft’s ground-testing programme ahead of FAA special airworthiness certification and first flight, said the company in a Linkedin post. The X1 is a passenger airliner with 30 passenger seats. A 200km all-electric range and 800km hybrid range (25 PAX). The aircraft can operate off a runway o 1100m and achring time takes 30 minutes.
