Health influencer dies after 'falling from building'
Diana Areas, a fitness influencer with over 200,000 Instagram followers, died after leaving hospital without permission following a fall, police investigate all possible causes.
- On November 13, fitness and nutrition influencer Diana Areas was found dead after falling from the top of a building at Unique Towers condominium, Campos dos Goytacazes.
- At around 6.30am, emergency crews found Diana Areas injured with cuts and took her to Hospital Ferreira Machado in moderate condition; she then left without authorisation and returned to her apartment.
- Known online as Diana Areas Nutri, she had more than 200,000 Instagram followers and posted a video four days before her death, plus loved-up photos with partner Ricardo Galossi weeks ago.
- Civil Police of Campos dos Goytacazes have launched an investigation, her body was taken to the Legal Medical Institute in Campos at around 12.30pm, and has been released for burial in Bom Jesus do Norte.
