KONA, Hawaii (KHON2) -- Hawaii Island police are investigating a series of brush fires that may have been set on purpose. In the morning hours on Thursday, Oct. 23, at least eight different fires, all about 10 feet by 10 feet in size, were observed along Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway.
