A UC Berkeley student was allegedly chased home by a homeless man who is seen on surveillance video scaling a locked gate at her apartment complex. Berkeley police could not make a warrantless arrest.

The video shows the college student buzzing into her apartment complex. Seconds later, a man can be seen scaling the locked gate and entering the property. He then pulls out what Berkeley police said was a barbecue lighter. "We deserve stricter laws so that things like this aren't just allowed to happen legally," Eden said.
