Thousands of devotees are arriving at the ancient Rudreshwar Mahadev Temple on the banks of the Mahanadi in Dhamtari during the month of Sawan for darshan and abhishekam. For the first time, this self-proclaimed Shiva temple, associated with the tradition of Ram's exile, is also hosting a Mahanadi Aarti, similar to the one in Varanasi.
