Hamburg’s Peters wins GPAC javelin - The Hamburg Reporter

Hamburg’s Lilly Peters, a 2024 graduate from Sidney High School and freshman track athlete at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, set a personal record at Hastings College on Friday, May 2, at the Great Plains Athletic Conference meet. She had a javelin throw of 43.5 meters (142.08 feet) and won the GPAC championship. Her personal best also broke the Briar Cliff School record and qualified her for NAIA Nationals.
