Gaza. The Palestinian militia Hamas denounced the closure of the Rafah border crossing under Israel’s “weak security pretexts” and the tightening of the blockade against the Gaza Strip due to the escalation of the war with Iran, threatening the supply of food and fuel to more than 2 million Palestinians. Spain’s President, Pedro Sanchez, argued that the situation in Gaza cannot “fall into oblivion” because of Iran.
The Palestinian group believes that this decision violates the cease-fire agreement, preventing thousands of injured from receiving adequate medical treatment and putting lives at risk due to the destruction of the health system in the prison.
Hamas accused Israel today of wanting to "strengthen the search" at the Gaza Strip, where the border crossing of Rafah, in the south of the Palestinian prisoner, continues to be closed "under fragile and false security conditions".
