Hadash Knesset candidate quits slate after sexual misconduct allegations
Hadash has reportedly received seven testimonies from women alleging that Jafar Farah sexually harassed them. The party will choose his replacement for the fourth place on the Joint List on Saturday
The party announced that Farah will not run for the Knesset, after Haaretz exposed evidence that he sexually harassed. After he officially announces his resignation, Hadash will finally approve Samir Abu Zeid's placement in fourth place on the joint list for the Knesset.
Ja'far Farah announced his withdrawal from the second place on the Hadash list for the Knesset, amid the controversy surrounding the accusations against Abu Bassel and the desire to prevent harm to the Joint List. Tomorrow, Hadash institutions and the Communist Party will meet to select a new candidate for the vacant seat.
