Family members and organizations are calling for a commemoration this Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the corner where the young woman was kidnapped in 1976. The public event will take place at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Rosario and Urquiza streets, the site of the "El Picaflor" supermarket where Noni worked the morning she was abducted. The family chose the location and time to mark the exact moment the events occurred, half a century ago.
