Alexander Pérez Gutiérrez, known as ‘Gringasho’, is once again in the public eye after filing an application that could reduce his sentence and open the doors to his freedom before 2028. Currently, he is serving a 10-year sentence for possession of weapons of war in Challapalca prison, one of the toughest prisons in the country.
