Shortly after Grill’d launched the campaign earlier this month, Grill’d Workers United, a worker advocacy group, demanded the restaurant group axe and apologise for the campaign that it said was “not edgy, clever or harmless” but a “degrading” decision that “sexualises women, embarrasses staff and tells female workers that Grill’d is prepared to use women’s bodies as a punchline to sell burgers”.
