A section of Griffith Station Road will remain closed for several weeks due to extensive damage from rushing floodwater. The point of closure is between KY-279 and Willett Road, about 3 miles from the community of Stanley.  As the pictures illustrate, the pavement was completely washed from the road bed into a neighboring field.
