Greggs removes fan favourite item just 2 years after launch leaving shoppers gutted
The bakery chain said other breakfast baguette options remain available before 11am as it rotates seasonal items and tests new self-service units.
Greggs has removed its All Day Breakfast Baguette from the menu, a popular item first introduced in 2024 that shoppers noticed had vanished from the high street bakery chain.
The item is taking a seasonal break from the menu as Greggs "continually review our range and regularly bring back fan favourites based on customer demand," a spokesperson said.
Before 11 a.m., customers can still purchase the Bacon or Omelette Breakfast Baguette, as well as the Sausage Breakfast Baguette, at Greggs locations.
Separately, Greggs launched Greggs Express, a self-service concept, at Motor Fuel Group's petrol forecourt near Glasgow Airport. Property director Tony Rowson said it aims to "enhance our customer experience, focusing on convenience and speed."
Greggs is analyzing customer behavior with plans to roll out a small number of self-service units across other MFG locations in the coming months.
