Greenville accepts land for new public park
As newly poured concrete curbs begin to form the shape of the future Grosvenor Drive connector, city officials have accepted a wooded parcel that will one day become the city’s newest public park. During Tuesday’s meeting of the Greenville City Council, members voted unanimously to accept a warranty deed, pending legal review and approval, that will bring a 1.5-acre parcel into the city’s public park system.
